Mr Sachinkumar P.P. is an early-career academic and legal researcher specialising in Energy Law and Policy. Presently, he is working in the capacity of Assistant Professor of Law at the Vinayaka Mission’s Law School, Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation-Deemed University. He is an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Kerala. He is a Recipient of a full scholarship for pursuing a PhD from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He holds an LL.M. in Commercial and Environmental Law, for which he received a proficiency certificate for securing a position of merit from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala (CUSAT).

Mr Sachinkumar combines practical legal exposure with robust academic research. His research contributions include multiple publications in Scopus-indexed journals and reputed law reviews, and industry-specific magazines focusing on a strong interdisciplinary grounding in law, governance, and sustainability, particularly emphasising on emerging and niche aspects such as energy transition, coal acquisition, renewable energy policy, and electricity law. He has presented his work at leading national and international forums. He is actively engaged in academic and professional development. He has participated and contributed his expertise in several workshops on climate policy, energy economics, legal research, and responsible innovation. Sachinkumar’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of Law and Policy with a focus on ensuring equitable and secure access to justice.
