Assistant Professor
Abhinandita is an academic with a keen interest in understanding International law & development in the Global South. She worked as a Junior Policy Consultant at The Outcast Collective, a Diversity,Equity & Inclusion (DEI) firm, assisting them in drafting a global POSH policy for one of their clients (a multinational company). She has also engaged extensively with Project 39A at National Law University Delhi, contributing to their communications program for prisoners. Her work involved collaborating with the mitigation investigation team, communicating with prisoners on death row through letters, and interviewing their families.
She has completed her Master of Laws from Jindal Global Law School, specializing in International Trade and Investment Law where she was awarded The Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Leadership Award for All-Round Performance in the LLM cohort of 2023-24 and The Dean’s Award for Outstanding All- Round Performer: Rank 1 from the LLM class of 2024. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Law from Adamas University, Kolkata, where she secured a silver medal for her academic performance in the five-year LLB cohort of 2018-2023.
Her academic interests are rooted in international law, with a particular focus on third world approaches to international law, international trade law and public policy. Currently, she is exploring issues related to trade and climate change.
Abhinandita is also deeply interested in history, sociology and vernacular literature and enjoys reading autobiographies and painting.
