Abhinaya Ramesh, LL.M, Ph.D. (in progress), brings a wealth of expertise to Vinayaka Mission’s Law School (VMLS). With over four years of teaching experience, including roles as Assistant Professor II at SASTRA University and Adjunct Faculty, Abhinaya possesses a strong foundation in legal education.
Her areas of expertise include Intellectual Property Law, Law of Torts, Contracts II, Criminology & Penology, Consumer Protection & Competition Law, and Company Law & Practice. Abhinaya has contributed significantly to the field through her published articles and presentations at prestigious conferences.
She presented a paper titled “Trusting a review: Tricky issues in consumer protection” at the International Virtual Conference on New Facets of Consumer Law-Challenges and Way Forward. This paper was subsequently published in the edited book titled “Consumer Law and Practice- Contemporary Issues and Way Forward.”
Additionally, her paper titled ‘The Blurring of the Virtual and the Real: Internet Communities and Virtual Avatars’ was presented at Media Meet 2022 (Media Technologies) and published in Innovation, a Scopus Indexed Journal.
