Dr. Yazhini A

Dr. Yazhini A is an Agricultural Economist with a strong academic background and extensive research engagement in agricultural policy, sustainability, marketing and trade, and rural development. Her work places special emphasis on Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), climate change, and technological innovations in the agrarian sector.

Her doctoral research focused on impact analysis of Farmer Producer Organizations. She was associated with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) during her doctoral programme and also served as a Research Associate at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, where she contributed to a TNAPEX project aimed at improving the competitiveness of Tamil Nadu's food-processing MSME sector.

Dr. Yazhini has earned several recognitions for academic and research excellence, including qualifying the ARS-NET examination, receiving the TAUPA Silver Jubilee Award for academic merit, and securing Best Oral Presentation awards at both national and international conferences related to climate change and agricultural marketing.
