Hartej Singh

Assistant Professor

Hartej Singh is an Assistant Professor of Law at Vinayaka Mission's Law School (VMLS) with five years of experience, specializing in competition law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and public policy, with a strong focus on bigness and market concentration. His ongoing Ph.D. research critically analyzes the adequacy of India's competition law regime in curbing monopoly power and concentrated market structures.

Hartej holds an LL.M. in Corporate Laws from National Law University, Jodhpur, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS), GGSIP University, New Delhi.

He has contributed to numerous scholarly publications and regularly engages in academic conferences, presenting papers and leading discussions on corporate and competition law.

In addition to his academic career, Hartej secured an All India Rank of 7 in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) selection for the Indian Army.

Outside of academia, Hartej enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, exploring diverse cuisines, and is an avid chai enthusiast.
