The Centre for the Promotion of International Law (CPIL) at VMLS
successfully hosted its 4th guest lecture on the theme 'Teaching
and Researching International Law in Asia: Critical Approaches,
and Other Research Methodologies' on 03rd June 2024. The lecture
was conducted online and featured Mr. Amiel Ian Valdez, a
distinguished Research Fellow at the Centre for International Law,
National University of Singapore, and the Asian Society of
International Law.
Highlights of the Event
The event began with a welcome address by the Director of the
Centre for the Promotion of International Law. He introduced Mr.
Amiel Ian Valdez and highlighted his extensive experience and
contributions to the field of international law, particularly in
the Asian context.
Mr. Valdez delivered an insightful lecture that covered the
