Report on Workshop: "Teaching and Learning Tools" - August 28, 2024
Vinayaka Mission Law School (VMLS) organized a workshop on "Teaching
and Learning Tools" on August 28, 2024, as part of its ongoing
efforts to enhance faculty development and innovation in education.
The workshop was led by Dr. Vembanoor Nedumaran, Senior Consultant
in Artificial Intelligence, who was invited as the guest speaker.
Dr. A. Francis Julian delivered the keynote address, while Dean Dr.
Ananth Padmanaban welcomed the participants.
The session focused on the integration of AI in educational
practices, exploring how AI tools can optimize teaching
methodologies and improve the overall learning experience for
students. Dr. Nedumaran shared valuable insights on the practical
challenges and potential benefits of AI in education, addressing the
concerns raised by faculty members regarding AI's role in academic
settings. He provided practical solutions to help educators
effectively adopt AI tools in their teaching practices.
