Assistant Professor
Shubham Shukla is an Assistant Professor of Law at Vinayaka Mission’s Law School (VMLS), bringing a rich blend of academic and professional experience. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the India International University of Legal Education and Research (IIULER), Goa, with research interests focused on Corporate Governance, Competition Law and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. He is also UGC NET qualified.
Previously, Shubham served as an Assistant Professor at Amity Law School, Amity University Rajasthan, where he coordinated legal aid activities and ADR competitions as the Nodal Officer for the Pro Bono Club. He has held academic positions at Kingston Law College, Kolkata, and PSIT College of Law, Kanpur. His teaching expertise spans Corporate Law, Competition Law, Law of Contracts, and Banking Laws.
Shubham has a strong publication record, with research published in indexed journals, and his work explores critical intersections between law, technology, and corporate practices. Notably, he has worked on a Department of Justice-backed project on the AI-based search engine Nyaya Setu, aimed at enhancing access to justice. In addition to his academic contributions, he has worked with Justice S.K. Misra (former judge of the Delhi High Court) in arbitration and contributed to a UNICEF-backed project on child rights. Aspiring to contribute to the growth of VMLS, Shubham is motivated by a commitment to foster legal education and inspire the next generation of legal professionals, believing that education is a powerful tool for social change.
