On 25th February 20205, Vinayaka Missions Law School (VMLS),
Chennai, had the honor of hosting Mr. Bhagwan Shankar, a retired
Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, who delivered an
insightful lecture on “The Diversity of India and its Relevance in
Formulation of Public Policy.
The lecture began with a warm welcome by the Dean of VMLS, who
introduced the esteemed guest, Mr. Bhagwan Shankar, to the
audience.
Mr. Shankar’s lecture provided valuable perspectives on the role
of India’s diversity in shaping public policy. He emphasized the
importance of acceptance, universalism, and mutual respect in
fostering a harmonious and inclusive society. These themes were
