Chennai, 9th February 2026 — Vinayaka Mission's Law School (VMLS) held the Inauguration & Commencement Programme for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025–26 at the VMCC Campus, Chennai. The event marked the beginning of a new academic chapter with distinguished legal luminaries in attendance.

The session opened with a warm welcome address by Mr. Siddharth Raja, Executive Dean of VMLS, who highlighted the school's commitment to academic excellence and clinical legal education. This was followed by a special address by Mr. J. Suresh Samuel, Member, Board of Management, Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation – Deemed to be University, who shared insights into the foundation's vision for future-ready legal professionals.

The highlight of the event was the commencement address delivered by Senior Advocate Mr. Raju Ramachandran of the Supreme Court of India. He spoke on the evolving landscape of the legal profession and the responsibilities of young law students in upholding the rule of law.

The programme also featured addresses by Ms. Arulmozhi, Advocate at the Madras High Court, and Adv. P. R. Gopinathan, who shared their professional experiences and encouraged students to engage deeply with legal practice and social advocacy.

The event concluded with an interactive session where students had the opportunity to engage with the guest speakers, gaining valuable perspectives on their future academic and professional journeys.
