Vinayaka Mission’s Law School (VMLS) marked a significant milestone in its journey towards global academic engagement with the signing of an International Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of San Diego, School of Law on 20 January 2026.

This strategic collaboration aims to establish a robust platform for academic cooperation, international exposure, and cross-cultural learning. The MoU is designed to benefit students and faculty members of both institutions through opportunities such as academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, and global learning experiences, thereby strengthening VMLS’s international academic footprint.

VMLS extends its sincere gratitude to Dean Robert A. Schapiro, University of San Diego School of Law, for his leadership and support in fostering this collaboration. VMLS also acknowledges the valuable contributions of Mr. Aman Singh and Mr. Hasil Gora from GradRight Inc., whose efforts were instrumental in successfully finalising the MoU. The institution expresses its appreciation to all other stakeholders who played a key role in bringing this partnership to fruition.

The institution further places on record its heartfelt thanks to Dr. A. Francis Julian, Chairperson of the Mentoring Committee, VMLS, for his guidance and unwavering support throughout the process. VMLS also acknowledges the leadership and commitment of Mr. Rajasekaran P, Deputy Registrar (Administration), VMRF, and Prof. Siddharth Raja, Executive Dean, VMLS, whose vision and administrative support were pivotal in making this international collaboration a reality.

This MoU signifies VMLS’s continued commitment to global academic excellence, internationalisation of legal education, and the creation of meaningful opportunities for its academic community.
