Vinayaka Mission's Law School (VMLS) marked the 75th National
Constitution Day with an event themed “Constitutionalism and
Access to Justice: A New Blueprint for Legal Education.” Dr.
Ananth Padmanabhan, Dean of VMLS, inaugurated the program,
highlighting the Constitution's transformative role in fostering
inclusivity and equity.
Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) P. Kalaiyarasan delivered the keynote on
"Indian Constitution – Right to Education," emphasizing
education's pivotal role in equity. Dr. A. Francis Julian, Senior
Advocate, Supreme Court of India, explored Article 32's
significance in securing justice. PVS Giridhar, Senior Advocate,
linked constitutional values to social contract theory, while Dr.
Sridhar Krishnaswami reflected on democracy’s evolving dynamics.
The launch of the bilingual VLAT Online Registration (2025–2026)
further reinforced VMLS's commitment to inclusivity. The event
underscored the institution’s dedication to advancing
constitutional values and legal education.
