VLAT Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for VLAT, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and minimum marks requirements based on their chosen programme and category.

1. For 5-Year Integrated Programmes (BA LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., BBA LL.B.)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.

Minimum Marks Required:

General Category 45%
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 42%
SC/ST/PWD 40%

2. For 3-Year LL.B. Programme

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree (in any discipline) from a recognized university.

Minimum Marks Required:

General Category 45%
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 42%
SC/ST/PWD 40%

3. For LL.M. Programme

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold UG law degree from recognized university.

Minimum Marks Required:

General Category 50%
