On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, the Centre for Access to Justice (CAJ), Vinayaka Mission’s Law School (VMLS), in collaboration with Sri Ragini Dharmasthapanam, organized a Women’s Hygiene Drive on 6 March 2026 at Keezhpattu Village, Madurantakam.

The program aimed to promote menstrual hygiene awareness and legal literacy under the theme “No woman shall be held back by her cycle.” The initiative benefited 250 women, including 30 schoolgirls, through the distribution of hygiene kits and awareness sessions on menstrual health and social stigma.

A legal awareness component highlighted women’s health rights and dignity under Constitution of India, particularly the right to life and dignity under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
